Words are insufficient to express how happy I feel about baby Lucas’ arrival, who came to bless and make my lovely friends a family. You might remember Sandra’s birthday/maternity session a few months back here on the blog. We did Lucas’ session within a week of his arrival yet he was the most awake baby I have ever photographed. My favorite thing this session was Dad telling Lucas, “Luc I am your father”….hahaha. Love it! Here’s for you Sandra and Jorge, see you soon. Enjoy!  ♥ Vanessa

It was time for Giuliano’s 9 month session and, although he’s usually all smiles, he was not ready for his close-up this time around. I did get to sneak in a few shots of smiles in-between the pouts. Can’t wait to photography him walking, hopefully he’ll like sand… Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

Why wouldn’t he? His big brother is, after all, Chewbacca! You might remember Chewy’s session, but just in case you can see it here. They even share the same rolling tongue! This was Logan’s 4-month Chichi Baby session and he was exactly as he’s supposed to be….impossibly adorable. Mom brought the best hat and onesie EVER! Yep, that’s R2D2 on the hat. Gotta love a Mom that loves Star Wars. Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

Such a big name for such a little guy, but Arthur made his name proud. He was King and was not going to do anything anyone wanted him to do. He was awake most of the shoot and a little upset that I was interrupting his regular schedule. We were able get a few great shots at home and opted to continue the shoot in the studio the week after. At the studio he was much the same except for a small 10 minute window where he fell into a very light sleep. That’s all we needed. Love the family shot where he’s looking straight at Daddy. The previous post to this one was Aidan’s Mommy’s maternity session. She was absolutely glowing as you saw…and you can see why. Baby Aidan arrived within the week and is total perfection. He was already a month old when I went to their home to photograph them. The whole back of their home is glass windows, so the light was amazing. It was beautiful and comfortable. What a great time….I love my job. :) Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

I went over to this wonderful family’s home to photograph their newest arrival, Trevor and the moment Mom opened the door I had the feeling I had met her before, like I’ve known her for a long time. But I could not remember from where. I mentioned it to her and she had the same feeling. We have yet to figure out how it is that we know each other, but we figured out how to get some beautiful shots of both boys and of the whole family. Love this first shot, so tender. We tried the sand, the bucket, the grass and another bucket….nope, didn’t like any of it. Daniella did not want anything to do with anyone but Mommy in her second Chichi Baby session. Although it does not look like it, she cried most of the session; but, Mom knew the perfect song to make her laugh and it worked like magic! I was in love with her little bathing suit and cap…great throwback don’t you think? Daniella’s next session will be in August and I’m sure she’ll have much more fun in that one. Nonetheless, we got some beautiful shots in this one…LOVE this first one. Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

You met Mommy and big brother Chewy at the beginning of the year, and now here’s long-awaited baby Logan! This feisty little guy made Mommy, grandma and myself work hard for the pictures. He would not fall asleep (without A LOT of food that is). He eventually did…even if only for about 20 minutes. Once he re-awoke, he wrapped up the session – to Mom’s dread – by pooping and peeing on her. :) You won’t be able to tell by these photos though. Love these images. Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

What a lovely cheery baby! While most babies don’t really dig having their outfit changed, Veronica had three wardrobe changes and still kept her happy spirit. There were many smiles and curious stares at leaves, and branches and grass….and taste tests as well. LOL.  I love that you can see her teeth coming out in this first image. This sweet angel is Clorissa. Very alert and extremely aware for a two-week old baby. I photographed Mom’s maternity shoot only a couple of weeks before and she was fabulous! I posted a sneak peek on the VLM Studios Facebook page if you want to see it here. For this shoot though, Mom was tired and was not ‘feeling it’. :) So we focused completely on Clarissa who was very opinionated about what she wanted to do and not do.
