A Lady Gaga inspired Quince party that was, simply put, Monster fun!!! You saw Analis’ sessions’ photos on the blog a few weeks ago. Her party was all around the most fun I’ve had at a Quince EVER. The event was planned by he fantastic Jennifer from Jennifer J Events which included a lounge, a candy/sweets station, body and face painting, and a DJ featuring the most entertaining spirited MC that kept the party going and the spirits high all night. There are too many images from this gorgeous Alice in Wonderland inspired first birthday party to try to fit into this post, so here’s the short version…. there were characters, a butterfly release, a candy station, adorable bunnies, incredible children’s table, an awe-inspiring cake, a harp player, classical string quartet and, of course, loads of fun. This year’s fall themed Quick Takes are set once again! If you don’t know what Quick Takes are,they are special promotional events held twice a year that boast a minimal sitting fee, pre-paid packages at reduced rates, and are centered around a “scene” created specially for the event; in this case, a Fall scene. It is for children 6 months to 6 years old. The Spring Quick Takes were a hit… if you want to take a peek at some of the stars of that day click here.

This event sells out fast, so contact the studio as soon as you can to reserve a spot for your little ones. Appointments are required. Halloween costumes are welcomed!

After a short hiatus, the Quick Takes returned this year on an absolutely perfect Spring day. While I was assistant-less that day due to unforeseen circumstances, the kids needed very little assistance in enjoying the scene and their photos (most of them at least) lol. Here are a few images from the day’s bright stars, colors and smiles. The next Quick Takes will be in October with a Fall theme. I know, you’re thinking First Communion and baseball? Yup. That’s what we did, two in one. :) I’ve known Mariano’s Mom and family for a few years now, and she and I had talked many times about doing a baseball shoot for Mariano but life would always happen (and not the shoot). :) So, since it was time for Mariano’s First Communion portraits, Mom figured we could focus the second half of the shoot on his LOVE for baseball…and so we did. It was soooo fun. Can’t wait to show her all the photos. Enjoy! ♥ Vanessa

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of documenting the very special Confirmation of two fantastic young ladies. The ceremony was beautifully quaint and the dinner reception was delicious and elegantly simple….I wouldn’t expect anything less from this client. The event was put together once again by the always excellent Jennifer from Jennifer J Events who took care of every detail including that of transforming the ambiance from day to night. On Saturday, March 27 we had a gorgeous, hectic, happy, fun, crazy and exciting Quick Takes day! All the kids were fantastic as were the parents and extended family that attended. In case you’re not familiar with Quick Takes, you can read all about it here. last Saturday April 11th we had an amazing time at the Spring Quick Takes. they took place in perfect fashion once again! i had such fun photographing all the sweet little ones whose ages ranged from 6 months to 6 years old. we thankfully had gorgeous weather so the light was perfect. Here are some of the shots from that day, just adorable!

this was absolutely the sweetest baby shower i’ve ever been to, literally, it was desserts galore. the ladies in attendance were just as sweet and fun. the event planning was fantastically done by Jennifer from JenniferJ Events who was on top of every detail. the venue was the very chic Maison d’Azur at the Astor hotel where� Danya Hachey and her team put together a delicious menu,� just the perfect size and vibe for the occasion. this is Mariane’s second baby and you can see big brother and protector Stefano flexing his big muscles. i’ll be photographing her maternity session this week, so you’ll see those posted soon. warning….you may want to eat your screen…heehee
